You are not required to create an account or provide personal information to use the Service. If you contact us via email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you use the mobile app, the following information may be collected automatically:

• Device advertising ID (e.g., Google Advertising ID on Android) — used by Google AdMob for ad personalization and measurement
• Device token — a unique identifier generated by Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery; this token is sent to our backend server
• Platform identifier— "android" or "ios", sent alongside the device token to our backend
• Anonymous usage data — page views, screen interactions, and app engagement, collected via Google AdMob analytics
• Device information — device model, OS version, screen dimensions, language (non-identifying, collected by AdMob)
• IP address — collected by AdMob and our server for geo-location (country-level) and network diagnosis

1.3 Information from Third-Party Content

The app displays news articles from third-party sources in an in-app WebView. These third-party websites may independently set cookies, collect data, or track your activity. We have no control over their data practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of the respective news sources.

1.4 Local Storage

The app caches news articles and clusters locally on your device for offline reading and improved performance. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with our servers or any third party. You can clear this cache at any time via the app settings or system storage settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Deliver news content — fetch and display articles from news sources
• Push notifications — send breaking news alerts via Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Advertising — serve banner and interstitial ads via Google AdMob
• Analytics — understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the app
• Communication — respond to your inquiries if you contact us

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Google AdMob — advertising ID, IP address, device info, and usage data are shared with Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may use this data for personalized advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — device token is shared with Google Firebase for push notification delivery.
• Our backend server — device token and platform (android/ios) are stored on our server solely for the purpose of sending push notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any other party.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

• Device tokens — retained on our server until you uninstall the app or request removal. Tokens are automatically invalidated by Firebase if the app is uninstalled.
• Local cache — retained until cleared by you or overwritten by new data.
• AdMob data— retained per Google's data retention policies.
• Email communications — retained as long as necessary to address your inquiry.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) for all communications with our server. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Opt out of personalized advertising— enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your device settings (Android) or enable "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS)
• Disable push notifications — turn off notifications for the app in your device settings
• Clear local data — clear the app cache in your device storage settings
• Withdraw consent — uninstall the app at any time to stop all data collection through the mobile application
• Request information — contact us to inquire about data we hold associated with your device token (note: we cannot identify individual users from tokens alone)
• Request deletion — contact us to request deletion of your device token from our servers

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob — advertising. Data collected: advertising ID, IP address, device info, usage data. AdMob privacy policy
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications. Data collected: device token. Firebase privacy policy
• News content providers — third-party news sources whose articles are displayed in the app. Each source operates under its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the respective source when reading articles.
